Driver's education in Delaware

The state of Delaware requires teens to complete and pass a driver's education course. The Delaware driving education courses generally teaches right from the driver's manual so make sure to pick up a copy from your local DMV office.

Be careful when signing up for a driver's education course because it must be a course that meets the state's criteria or you unfortunately you will have to retake a new course. As soon as you pass the approved Delaware driver's education course you will be awarded with a Delaware driver education certificate to have a proof for completing the class.

The only way you can take a driver's education course outside of Delaware and have it be accepted is if you were not a resident of Delaware at the time your took the course.
