Kentucky ID Cards
Identification cards, or ID cards, are a perfect way to obtain a photo ID for yourself without getting a driver's license. You might be too young to drive, not qualified based on Kansas criteria or just plain don't want to. To apply for an ID card in Kansas you will need to follow certain procedures and meet particular requirements. Read below to find out more:
- Be at least 15 years of age or older*
- Pay a $12 fee, cash or check only (ID cards are valid for four years)
- Show the following documents:
- Social Security card
- Birth certificate
- Proof of residency
*If you are a parent that wants to get a Kansas ID card for your child that is under the age of 15, you may do so by paying a $4 fee and signing a parental consent form, in addition to the above requirements.
