Reinstate Suspended License in Ohio
You can reinstate your suspended Ohio driver's license once the time period for which your license was suspended has expired. You may pay in-person, by phone, online or by mail. You may not send cash if you are paying by mail. Instead, please send a check or money order. The Ohio BMV recommends that you mail your application and payment for reinstatement two weeks before your suspension is up. This allows for the BMV to reinstate your suspended license sooner.
To reinstate your suspended Ohio driver's license, you will need to pay a fee. The fees range from $12.50 to $600, and the amount you will pay depends on the severity of your violation. Note that if you have not complied with Ohio's mandates for reinstatement of a suspended license (i.e.:: DUI counseling, child support payments), your driving privileges cannot be reinstated.
