Driving without a driver's license is illegal, so make sure you apply for a replacement license quickly to avoid getting a ticket or risk suspenion.
The only way to get a replacement license is to go in person to your local DMV
If you are under 18 your parents must sign the application.
The DMV will verify your Social Security number, photo, and personal information it has on file for you. If the DMV office can't identify you it can't issue you a duplicate license.
After they verify you are who you say you are they will give you a temporary license valid for 60 days and they will mail the replacement license to your home address.
The fee for a duplicate Class A, B or C is $29.
